How do I know whether this mat will fit my treadmill or walking pad?
The mat measures 55 x 23.6 inches when fully unfolded. Compare these dimensions with the full footprint of your equipment, including its support feet. The machine should sit completely within the mat without any feet resting on or beyond the edges.

Does the mat need to cover the entire treadmill?
It should cover every point where the treadmill contacts the floor. The running belt does not need a separate margin around it, but all wheels, feet, and frame supports should rest securely on the mat.
Can I place the treadmill mat on hardwood, tile, or carpet?
The high-density PVC mat is designed to provide a protective layer beneath compatible exercise equipment on common indoor flooring. Place it on a clean, dry, level surface and confirm that the mat and machine do not shift before beginning a workout.
Will this mat prevent treadmill noise from reaching the room below?
It can help absorb vibration and reduce some equipment noise, especially on hard flooring. However, it cannot completely soundproof a room. The final noise level will also depend on the treadmill, workout speed, flooring structure, footwear, and building construction.
Will the folding lines affect treadmill stability?
Unfold the mat completely and allow it to lie flat before positioning your equipment. Make sure the treadmill’s support points do not sit unevenly on raised folds and check that the machine remains stable before use.
Can sweat or water damage the mat?
The PVC surface is waterproof, so normal sweat and small spills can be wiped away with a towel or damp cloth. Dry the mat before folding it to prevent moisture from being trapped between the sections.
Can I use it without a treadmill?
Yes. When the treadmill is moved aside, the mat can also provide a defined surface for stretching, yoga, or low-impact floor exercises. Its 0.24-inch thickness offers light cushioning but is not intended to replace a thick exercise mat for movements that require substantial joint padding.
Is this mat suitable for small apartments or shared rooms?
Yes. It folds from 55 x 23.6 inches to approximately 12.6× 8.7 × 4.3 inches, making it easier to store when the room needs to be used for another purpose. It is particularly practical for folding treadmills and walking pads that are put away between sessions.
Is it normal to notice a plastic odor after opening the package?
Yes, this is normal. Since the mat is sealed in the packaging for an extended period, a temporary plastic odor may be noticeable when first opened. We include a scented sheet in the package to help neutralize the smell. Simply unfold the mat and use it in a well-ventilated area, and the odor should gradually fade and typically disappear after about one week of use.
